The affected person is continuously monitored through active intelligent monitoring. After the unit has undergone its learning phase, as soon as an emergency occurs, a call is placed to the nurse or caregiver so that they are informed and can act quickly. Due to the fact that the system has learned which behaviour patterns the affected person has, it can consequently detect deviating behaviour and react to it by notifying the staff.
